Elevate: Ballet Technique Day Program
Precision in Technique, Power in Motion
Welcome to Triple Heat Dance’s Elevate: Ballet Technique Day Program; a focused training opportunity for dancers, ages 9+ who are ready to strengthen their ballet foundation, improve technical execution and take meaningful steps forward in their training. This program is designed for dancers who want more than just class time – it is for those who are committed to elevating their skills and deepening their understanding of ballet and contemporary dance in a structured and supportive environment.
Why Choose Elevate?
At Triple Heat Dance, we believe that true growth in dance comes from focussed attention, extra practice, and the guidance of experienced teachers. With small class sizes and individualized corrections, Elevate will offer dancers the detailed feedback they need to improve safely, efficiently, and with confidence.
- Ballet & Pointe Technique Training
A core feature of the Elevate program is its emphasis on proper technique. Additional weekly training allows dancers the time needed to reinforce technique, correct habits, and make noticeable progress. Dancers will work on:
- Proper alignment and placement
- Strengthening of feet and ankles
- Turns, balance, and control in both soft shoes and pointe shoes
For pre-pointe dancers, this program builds the strength and readiness required to transition to pointe safely. For pointe dancers, it provides the extra, consistent training needed to improve stability, control, and confidence.
- Conditioning & Flexibility
In addition to ballet technique, we include specialized conditioning and flexibility classes, such as yoga, Pilates and conditioning, to target key muscle groups necessary for strength, stability, and mobility. This component is key in building a strong foundation to support improved performance and injury prevention.
- Contemporary Dance Training
New this year will be the integration of contemporary dance into the Elevate program. Contemporary dance complements ballet training and together, these styles help create well-rounded dancers with both technical precision and dynamic movement quality.
- Goal Setting & Mentorship
We believe that setting goals is a powerful way to measure growth. As part of the Elevate day program, dancers will establish both short-term and long-term goals, while being encouraged to track their progress in and outside of the studio.
Program Highlights:
- Dedicated pointe and pre-pointe training each week
- Additional ballet technique classes focused on correct placement and execution
- Conditioning designed specifically to support pointe strength and injury prevention
