Dance Studio Dress Code


LITTLE FEET (Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre): Bodysuit, tights and/or bike shorts and/or skirt, suitable footwear

JAZZ: Bodysuit, tights and/or bike shorts, black jazz shoes

LYRICAL: Bodysuit, tights and/or bike shorts, bare feet or nude toe undies.

STREET: Loose, baggy clothing (no jeans), clean indoor running shoes (white soles preffered).

MODERN: Bodysuit, tights and/or bike shorts, plain black socks and layers for floor work.

TAP: Bodysuit, tights and/or bike shorts, tap shoes.

MUSICAL THEATRE: Bodysuit, tights and/or bike shorts, black jazz shoes.

 

BALLET 

Little Feet Ballet:  Bodysuit of choice, light pink tights or white ankle socks, leather full sole ballet shoes. Dancers may also wear a pink skirt.

General Ballet: Black or any solid colour bodysuit with pink Mondor ballet tights and leather or canvas ballet shoes.

ITP Royal Academy of Dance Unform:

PB / Level 1 Ballet : Lilac Short Sleeve bodysuit #1635 + skirt, light pink tights or white ankle socks, leather full sole ballet shoes.

JB1 / Level 2A Ballet : Burgundy Mondor tank bodysuit, light pink tights, leather full sole ballet shoes and low heel character shoes.

Level 3 Ballet: Royal Blue – Style #13520 Mondor bodysuit, light pink tights, leather full sole ballet shoes and low heel character shoes.

Level 4 Ballet: Burgundy – Style 13520 Mondor bodysuit, light pink tights, canvas or leather ballet shoes.

Level 5l6 Ballet : Black – Style 13520 Mondor bodysuit, light pink tights, canvas ballet shoes, pointe shoes.

Please Note:

*All RAD Uniform leotards can be purchased from Silhouettes Dance Shop

*All Ballet students must wear hair in a neat bun – there are many great Youtube videos on how to make a proper ballet bun.

*All festival/competition classes will be required to have a pair of canvas split sole ballet shoes for performance only.

*During the winter months a wrap-around ballet warm-up sweater is recommended. Leg warmers and dance warm ups are also permitted for use in cold weather.
