We have a fantastic line up of Adult classes for Season 14! All classes run in 8 – 14 week sessions with our fabulous in house faculty. These classes do not include costumes, performances or long term commitments.
Silver Swans Ballet (50+)
Silver Swans is a ballet program developed by the Royal Academy of Dance. While designed for those over 55, the classes are open to all ages and experience levels, from absolute beginners to former professional dancers. Taught by licensed instructors, these low-impact, fun classes focus on improving mobility, posture, co-ordination, and energy levels through ballet movements set to beautiful music; promoting well-being and a sense of community. Participants can choose between standing or seated options, catering to all levels in an encouraging a supportive environment. We look forward to having you dance with us this season.

This Seated Swans class is carefully crafted exercises that reflect the unique needs and aspirations of learners with mobility issues. Drawing upon the principles of ballet technique, each exercise and class is thoughtfully structured to promote strength, flexibility, and balance while prioritising safety and accessibility. Participants are guided through a diverse range of seated exercises that engage both body and mind.
Adult Ballet
The AB1 class is lovely introductory ballet class where dancers will work at the barre and in the centre learning basic ballet steps and gain a greater knowledge of ballet terminology with slow and thorough exercises to ensure a better understanding of proper body placement and positioning. The AB2 class is an intermediate level ballet class is where dancers will refine technique, build strength, and deepen your knowledge of ballet. This class will build classical vocabulary, improve alignment and develop musicality through barre work, centre work and across the floor. Perfect for dancers returning to ballet or looking to progress from a beginner level.

Adult Jazz
Dive into the vibrant world of Jazz. This class will be a great introduction to jazz, where dancers will learn learn the fundamentals of this iconic dance style and will have you moving with confidence and flair. All levels welcome – Ages 18+

Our Adult Tap Class is a fun and energetic dance class that combines rhythm, coordination, and musicality. New to tap, brushing up on old skills or just want to have some fun – then this is the class for you! All levels welcome – Ages 18+
