THD’s NEW Dance is for All (All Abilities) dance program is inclusive for adults with diverse abilities and needs. Our objective is to provide a safe space where everyone is welcome to experience the joy of dance. Classes will allow the participants to explore a variety of styles of dance including ballet, modern stage, jazz, and creative movement. Absolutely no experience or skill required! Participants who require one-to-one support must provide their own assistant.
Dance provides many benefits. Here are just a few:

Adult (16+) – Dance for All (DFA)
Session Dates: Session 2 – January 21st – March 11th, 2025
Class day/time: Tuesday 1:15-2:00pm
Class Attire: Comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Barefoot or socks.

Instructor: Michelle Hillier (RAD-RTS | B.Ed) Michelle, co-owner of Triple Heat Dance, is a classically trained ballet dancer who studied Royal Academy of Dance and Cecchetti methods of ballet at the National Ballet School of Canada and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School’s Professional Division. Michelle also trained in acting, voice and stage dance in Toronto at the Randolph College for the Performing Arts and the Equity Showcase Theatre. Michelle received a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia and has taught kindergarten through to grade 12. Michelle is a registered and certified ballet teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) and Silver Swans Licensee. Michelle makes it a professional priority to participate in yearly continuing professional development activities in order to ensure she is up to date on current teaching practices. Having taught dance for over 30 years, Michelle is a thoughtful instructor who seeks to develop new programs that nurture each students creativity and provides the opportunity for ALL to enjoy dance.
